Ellis Patents Single Hole cable clamps are stainless steel single cable cleats for cable diameters ranging from 10-57mm – these 1 hole cleats are typically used to clamp and support LV low voltage power cables 600/1000V (BS5467 | BS6724 XLPE SWA Armoured) to cable containment.
Ellis Patents 1 Hole aluminium cable clamps are designed to fix, retain and support low and high voltage cables and are ideal for use in dry industrial or outdoor unpolluted applications.
Additionally, the aluminium cable cleat can be epoxy coated for use in harsh environments and hazardous areas including sea air conditions (offshore).
The Ellis single hole cable cleats are manufactured from LM6 aluminium to BS 1490 and are available in 10 different sizes to suit cable diameters from 10-57mm.
International Standard IEC 61914:2009
Ellis Patent cable cleats with international specifications are used to clamp and retain LV MV HV cables including 11kV and 33kV networks depending on short-circuit calculations according to IEC61914 calculations.
For cable installations where corrosion protection is required, including onshore and offshore substations or hazardous area locations, see our complete range of ➡ stainless steel cable cleats.
Installing Cable Cleats
Installation instructions for single way cables using 1 hole aluminium cable cleats manufactured by Ellis Patents:
1. Position the cable clamp and the 2 screws (not supplied) on the stand | 2. Install the cable | 3. Place the other half of the clamp. Secure with 1 screw and 1 washer (not provided) and tighten | 4. Do not overtighten the cable clamp. The clamp must be in contact with the cable but it does not have to be so tight that the cable is bulging each side of the lining |
