Cable Terminations
Nexans ITK type MV cable terminations are cold shrink terminations consisting of 3 factory pre-assembled silicone tubes comprising stress relief and sealing mastic.
Nexans ITK cold shrink tubing is suitable for terminating single core polymeric insulated cables, such as XLPE or EPR, with working voltage classes of 11kV and 24kV.
Nexans terminations are available in both heat shrink, cold shrink and slip-on type technologies for terminating cables into switchgear, transformers and pole-mounted applications – single core termination kits are available for MV cables with copper wire or copper tape screen and armoured/unarmoured construction.
The Cold Shrink Termination is suitable for MV-HV power cables with aluminium or copper conductors – the termination accommodates both shearbolt cable lugs or crimp lugs.

Cold Shrink Joints
Nexans 24CSJ type MV cable joints are straight cold shrink joints for jointing single core polymeric insulated medium voltage cables to be laid in air on cable containment or directly buried into a cable trench.
Nexans 24CSJ cold shrink cable joints are fully screened and fully submersible for MV-HV cable jointing in industrial or hazardous area locations.
Nexans cable joints are available in both heat shrink and cold shrink technologies for jointing and repairing medium/high voltage cables up to 33kV – single core and 3 core cable joints kits are available for MV-HV cables with paper or polymeric insulation, copper wire or copper tape screen and armoured/unarmoured construction.
The Cold Shrink Joints accommodate both copper or aluminium conductors and accept shearbolt cable connectors or crimp connectors.

Separable Connectors
Nexans Euromold 480TB type MV separable connectors are used to terminate MV-HV XLPE/EPR (polymeric) insulated cables up to 42kV into Interface C Bushings.
Nexan’s 480TB tee connector with 630A – 1250A current rating is designed for Interface C and covers voltages from 12kV to 42kV with a maximum conductor size of 300sqmm.
Nexans separable connectors are typically used to terminate cables on power systems and circuits distributing MV-HV electricity at 6.6kV, 11kV, 33kV and 66kVÂ according to CENELEC EN50180 and IEEE ANSI.
Nexans separable connectors are available in deadbreak elbow, tee and straight connectors to terminate polymeric screened cables.

Nexans GTS1 type MV cable joints are straight heat shrink joints for jointing single core polymeric insulated medium voltage cables with extruded easy strip conductive screen or bonded extruded conductive screen. Nexans GTS1 heat shrink cable joints are fully screened, submersible and can be directly buried into cable trench.
Nexans cable joints are available in both heat shrink and cold shrink technologies for jointing and repairing medium/high voltage cables up to 33kV – single core and 3 core cable joints kits are available for MV-HV cables with paper or polymeric insulation, copper wire or copper screen and armoured/unarmoured construction. Transition Cable Joints
Nexans GTM3.1 type MV cable joints are transition cable joints using heat shrink technology for jointing three core paper cables (PILC draining and non-draining) to three core polymeric cables (XLPE). Nexan’s GTM3.1 heat shrink cable joints are designed for use with paper insulated belted or screened cables with a common lead sheath and are fully screened, submersible and can be directly buried into cable trench.
Nexans cable joints are available in both heat shrink and cold shrink technologies for jointing and repairing medium/high voltage cables up to 33kV – single core and 3 core cable joints kits are available for MV-HV cables with paper or polymeric insulation, copper wire or copper screen and armoured/unarmoured construction. The cable joints accommodate both shearbolt cable connectors or crimp connectors.
