COMBINED SPIKING & CUTTING TOOL
The unique PICOUP from PENTA provides a combined “Spike & Cut” capability in a single-tool operation - exclusively stocked by Thorne & Derrick.
The PICOUP remote controlled and hydraulic tools are used to check the absence of voltage on LV MV HV cables. Available in a choice of 2 models; PICOUP 65 (LV up to 65mm) or PICOUP 400 (LV HV up to 140mm) - suitable for use with most types of British Standard power cables, including BS5467, BS7870 & BS6622.
The spiking tool with integrated cable cutters is a compact single unit rated to IP67 and remote controlled up to 150m for additional safety to the user.
