Pictured:Â Cembre Crimp Lugs & CMP Cable Glands Terminating LV Single Core XLPE/AWA Cables. The BS6724 XLPE insulated single core cables with LSF (low smoke fume) outer sheath and 630sqmm stranded copper conductor were crimped using Cembre A120 copper tube crimp lugs and glanded with CMP CW50 aluminium cable glands.Â
LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) sheathed power cables are for use in public areas where there is a need to reduce the risk of harmful smoke and fumes when exposed to fire.
Cables manufactured in accordance with BS6724 produce lower levels of smoke and corrosive gas when exposed to fire than comparative cables manufactured in accordance with BS5467 and BS6346.
