Product Training Zone
The ENERGYx2022 Product Training Zone is where exhibitors can book a timed slot to run a 30-minute hands on training session and demonstrate how to get the best use out of their products in the day to day working life of the delegates. The training zone is an open plan area with seating located centrally within the main exhibition hall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for exhibitors to teach delegates how to get the most out of their products.

Steven Haskayne Senior Project Manager in New Infrastructure, Electricity Transmission National Grid
Steven is responsible for the construction of new overhead lines Steven is responsible for the construction of new overhead lines within the Nuclear connections portfolio and is currently responsible for the development and delivery of construction works within Electricity Transmission. His portfolio consists of new overhead lines for Nuclear connections and other major projects which are critical in the drive to decarbonise. Most notably Steven is responsible for the overhead line portfolio for the Hinkley Connection Project where National Grid are installing the first new design pylon in almost 100 years.
Steven has held the posts of Outage & Workforce planning manager, Connections Specialist for sustainable gas connections, Workload Forecasting & Analytical Specialist.
Clive Dodds – Senior Programme Manager Decarbonisation, Network Rail
Clive leads Network Rail’s Decarbonisation Programme focusing on Electric Vehicle Infrastructure delivery, the transition to renewable energy and a low carbon infrastructure. Clive specialises in change and transformation and in addition to delivering change at Network Rail he is a post graduate researcher focusing on situated and constructed change in arm’s length government bodies.
Prior to joining Network Rail in 2014 Clive was Assistant Director at Serco focusing on Home Office contract operations and delivering work force management transformation at Dubai Metro. Clive holds an MSc in Business Change and Transformation from the University of Brighton where he is continuing his Doctoral research.
Jaya Skandamoorthy – Regional Technical Manager, UK & Europe BASEC
Jaya joined the British Approvals Service for Cables (BASEC) as Regional Technical Manager UK & Europe and has brought considerable technical and commercial experience with him, He has previously worked for a building research, testing and certification body, where he led innovation projects and business growth in the UK, Europe and China.
Jaya graduated in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and has conducted testing on buildings and civil infrastructures, such as underground tunnel linings and highway bridges. He has worked on the European Design Codes and the Construction Products Directive and has significant expertise in policies, regulations and standards.
Jaya is a qualified assessor for the CEEQUAL infrastructure standard, a BREEAM professional and holds a post-graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
