Fluke PRV240FS | Proving Unit | Electrical Testing & Measurement | LV Low Voltage

Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit
The Fluke PRV240FS is a reliable low voltage proving unit designed to verify the correct operation of multimeters, voltage detectors, and other LV electrical testers. It ensures safe and accurate testing, helping engineers and electricians avoid false readings and improve safety compliance.
Purpose-built as a compact and portable proving unit, the Fluke PRV240FS electrical testing instrument is ideal for industrial, commercial, and utility applications, delivering reliable, fast, and safe operation.
The Fluke PRV240FS provides a safe method to verify that your T6 electrical tester is operating properly before you conduct any live tests. The concept of “Test Before Touch” (TBT) involves testing your T6 against a known live source before and after the actual measurement. This sequence verifies that your test tool is operating correctly during actual measurements.
Verify your test tool without unnecessary exposure to shock and arc flash. Using the PRV240FS reduces the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) when a known voltage source is not available for verification of your tester or multimeter before TBT is performed. PPE is still needed for absence-of-voltage testing when appropriate.
With its lightweight design and adherence to international safety standards, the Fluke PRV240FS helps technicians verify their instruments before live testing, minimising risk and downtime.
