Panduit’s buckle strap cable cleats are a cost-efficient and robust option for restraining cables against the damaging effects of a short circuit fault.
Stainless Steel Buckle Strap Cable Cleat
- Compatible with a variety of cable trays and LV MV HV cables
- No sharp edges after tensioning with cut end locked inside buckle
- Rounded edges prevent cable damage to soft sheath type LV MV HV cables
- Buckle design provides low finished profile of the cable straps
The mounting brackets allow for installation on various cable tray styles, high resistance to lateral and axial movement and available in Stainless Steel 316 with custom bracket designs upon request.
Installation tools & accessories allow for properly tension and cut straps and a cushion sleeve provides protection between the strap and cable insulation.
Installing Panduit’s Buckle Strap Cable Cleat
The parts needed for installation using the mounting bracket are:
- Buckle Strap
- Ratchet
- Mounting Bracket
- Cushion Sleeve
- Flat-head Screwdriver
- BT2HTI Installation Tool
- Safety Gloves
Cable Strap Installation Steps
- Firstly prepare the cable strap for installation
- Then prepare cushion sleeve for installation of the cable strap
- Install cable strap over cushion sleeve and bracket
- Use the cutting tool to tension and cut the cable strap
- Fold over cut end of the strap and secure inside the buckle
