Crimp Type – Fork Chain Terminal Halogen FreeÂ
The Cembre CP range of crimp terminals has been designed for the improved safety and reliability of electrical cable connectors and crimped terminations – manufactured by Cembre for use with production equipment to provide a quick and reliable crimped joint. The polycarbonate insulation is halogen free, self extinguishing thermoplastic material class VO (UL 94). The unique funnel shaped entry of the insulation sleeve guarantees total insertion of the copper cable conductor strands into the terminal barrel creating a secure and reliable electrical and mechanical connection.
Operating temperature range is -20 °C to +115°C (surge +130°).
The connectors are manufactured from electrolytic Copper Cu-ETP CWOO4A according to UNI EN 13599 and are tin plated with a minimum thickness of 3µm.
Main characteristics of the Cembre PC sleeves:

- Volume Resistivity (Ω/cm): >1016
- Max Operating Temperature (°C): 115-130
- Flammability (UL-94): V0
- Density (g/cm3): 1,2
- Water Absorption (%): 0,15
- Breaking Load (N/mm2): > 65
The Cembre connectors can be stored at a minimum temperature not below – 40°C.
