When working near or adjacent to DC Conductor Rail (DCCR) up to 750 Volts only approved insulated chisel & point crowbars and insulated tools should be used to control risk of accidental contact with the live conductor rail – British Standard BS8020 : 2011 provides advice about insulated hand tools for work on or near conductor rail systems operating at voltages up to 1000v a.c. of 1500 V d.c.
