Ripley WS-MSES is a cable stripping tool used when mid-span stripping, jointing and terminating overhead lines and primary distribution cables.

Ripley WS-MSES is able to quickly and efficiently remove polyethylene covering on primary voltage tap or riser wires. The design of the tool allows easy removal of a section of the cable jacket at mid span for the purpose of clamping to lightning arresters.

The WS-MSES tool is specific to cable size and strips the cable without any conductor damage. The mid-span tool can easily be positioned on the cable with an unique spring loaded locking bolt which has a ring pull at the end serving as an attachment to a tool belt or pouch.
