ARC 4 Rated GORE-TEX PYRAD Hood
Arc Flash Hoods with ARC 4 Rating
PROGARM 9501 | Integrated Helmet, Visor & Hood
The ProGARM 9501 arc flash hood with Arc 4 Rating using Gore-Tex Pyrad Technology is constructed from high-quality, durable ABS material, making it up to 20% lighter than most comparable arc flash helmets. It features a Dry-Tech sweatband, which ensures maximum comfort during use, and an adjustable ratchet system for a secure fit.
This Arc 4 rated helmet, manufactured by ProGARM, meets rigorous safety standards, including EN 397 (LD, MM, -40°C), EN 50365, and ANSI/ISEA Class 3, ensuring protection across a wide range of hazardous environments. Additionally, it is equipped with a premium, anti-fog coated Arc Flash protective shield, which is designed to meet NFPA 70E, ASTM F2178 (40 cal), and ANSI Z87.1 standards for electrical safety and impact resistance.
The ProGARM 9501 hood is part of the Arc 4 Rated range of Arc Flash Clothing alongside ProGARM 9505 jacket and 9515 dungaree, engineered to keep wearers dry and comfortable, even in the most active working conditions. Designed specifically for professionals such as electrical consultants, contractors, and site workers, the suits are ideal for those exposed to high energy environments where Arc Flash incidents of 40 cal/cm² are a risk – this includes protecting utility workers against arc flash risk when carrying out construction and maintenance in LV MV HV substations, switchgear and transformers at typical working voltages to 600/1000V, 11kV and 33kV.
