The below video shows the Alroc OGA heavy duty cable outersheath removal tool which enables a longitudinal cut to be made on the outer sheath of single and multi-core cables by the cable jointer.
These cable stripping tools feature four different cutting thickness positions and two cutting edges on the same cutting blade to give the jointers tools an extended working life.
The following instructions detail how to use the Alroc OGA cable sheath or jacket stripping tool safely and effectively.
- Alroc OGA strip or remove LV MV cable jacket
- 4 positions for 4 cable cutting depths
- Set up of the jointers tool on the cable
- Perform the longitudinal cut to the cable
- Rotate the tool without blade removal
