Single Core Outdoor Termination

These 3M QTIII type cable terminations utilise Cold Shrink technology to terminate and connect MV HV cables – 3M 92-EP621-2 is a high voltage cold shrink cable termination suitable for connecting single core polymeric (XLPE EPR) insulated cables up to 11kV with copper wire screen.

Cable termination suits 11kV cables with 50sqmm, 70sqmm, 95sqmm single core conductors and 24kV cables with 25sqmm, 35sqmm, 50sqmm, 70sqmm, 95sqmm, 120sqmm single core conductors.

Installation

3M cold shrink technology ensures quick, easy and safe installation of the QTIII Termination Body by pulling and unwinding the plastic support core in counter clockwise direction. Use of special tools is not necessary. Detailed instructions for installing the 3M QTIII Series Terminations are included in each kit.
