Bare Stranded Copper Cable

Bare Stranded Copper Cable Conductor

Furse

Copper conductors are used for most installations due to its high conductivity, anti-corrosive properties, and its flexibility for use in-air, in-earth and in-concrete forming part of the Furse range of conductors.

Furse bare stranded copper cable is available in a range of sizes to meet differing current ratings (see product information table). Additional sizes are also available on request.

Furse Product Details

  • Highly conductive soft or hard drawn stranded copper cable
  • Tinned soft drawn stranded copper cable available on request
  • Bare stranded copper cable supplied unbranded

Earthing Standards

  • BS EN 60228 (soft drawn)

Conductors

Earthing conductors are available in high conductivity copper and aluminium as bare, tinned or lead with PVC or LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) covering – conductors are used to prevent large transients entering a buildings power distribution system safely dispersing the electrical currents.
