Semi-Con Shield Stripper Tools Ripley
WS 9 Series
WS 9D and WS 9E are high voltage cable jointing tools manufactured by Ripley and used when splicing, jointing and terminating both HV and LV overhead power, transmission and distribution cables. They are a part of the Ripley WS 9 Series.
Ripley WS 9D & WS9E tools are suitable for shaving bonded semi-con from transmission voltage cables.
The transmission semi-con shaving tools produce shaves in a helical, spiral pattern. An aluminium oxide kit can be used for additional smoothing.
