The CBS ArcSafe RRS-1 is a versatile remote racking system designed to safely insert or remove low and medium voltage draw-out rotary circuit breakers, allowing the operator to remain outside the arc flash boundary. This system is compatible with circuit breakers that use a jack screw mechanism for insertion and removal.

Weighing less than 200 pounds, the RRS-1 is portable and easy to use, with no need for modifications to the switchgear or circuit breakers. Each system is custom-engineered to meet your specific circuit breaker requirements.

The CBS ArcSafe RRS-1 remote racking system allows for the automatic racking of circuit breakers from a remote location, replacing the manual racking process and keeping operators safely away from direct contact with the circuit breaker. Its innovative design, featuring custom-made drive shafts and tooling, enables compatibility with circuit breakers from all major switchgear manufacturers.

The CBS ArcSafe system can be used with draw-out air, SF6, oil, and vacuum circuit breakers, supporting both horizontal and vertical racking operations.
