The CFS-2 is a fibre optic cable stripper manufactured by Ripley Miller for stripping 250 micron buffer coating to expose 125 micron cladded fibre.
The 2 hole design efficiently strips away the 1.6 to 3 mm jacket or 900 micron tight buffer & 250 micron buffer coating from the 125 micron bare fibre, all in one compact tool. All stripping surfaces are manufactured to precise tolerances in order to ensure clean, smooth strips every time.
The factory set blade notches require no adjustment and will not scratch or nick the fibre and compliant thermoplastic elastomer handle grips fit comfortably in either hand, reducing the risk of injury.
