Abtech’s 11 kV busbar box is designed to safely carry high-voltage supplies with extreme current loadings in Zone 1 hazardous areas. Suitable for larger connectors (typically 150mm² and above), the enclosure supports three phases plus neutral and up to six conductors per phase, with standard ratings of up to 3000A (3200A optional) and a fault rating of 100kA for 1 second.
ABTECH’s high voltage junction boxes and electrical enclosures, offer reliable solutions for high-voltage installations up to 45kV. These 11kV junction boxes are suitable for Zone 1 & 21 hazardous areas, combining compact, corrosion-resistant designs with versatile mounting options.
Constructed from 2mm 316L stainless steel with 5mm gland plates, silicone gasket and heavy-duty hinges, the enclosure is IP66 and DTS-01 deluge tested. It is certified for Zone 1 & 21 (Gas & Dust), Class 1 Div 2 and InMetro with ATEX/IECEx certification.

The enclosure is suitable for larger crimp lugs (16mm² to 800mm²) and supports up to six conductors per phase. Typical maximum current: up to 3000A standard (3200A optional).
Features include DTS-01 deluge testing, heavy-duty machined hinges with lift-off padlockable cover, 2mm 316L stainless-steel construction, and external heavy-duty 3mm angle frames for mounting. Certified for Zone 1 & 21 hazardous areas and provided with ATEX/IECEx certificates.
