When expertly installed by Competent & Certified Jointers the PFISTERER range of Cable Accessories operate reliably and are absolutely maintenance-free over decades.
Safety and reliability are essential factors in MV & HV Power System applications placing particular demands on cable preparation, accessory assembly and installation skills of the cable jointer.
The Training Courses are aimed at professional installers as well as technicians, engineers and other project managers with several years‘ experience and appropriate skills in the installation of medium or high voltage cables.

CONNEX & SEANEX Jointing Courses
PFISTERER also has a worldwide trainer network: so training courses can be held close to you anywhere in the world.
The training courses provide the MV- HV Jointer with the required product know-how demonstrated in many practical examples. All training courses include:
- Product Training
- General & Individual Installation Requirements
- Installation & Cable Preparation
- Performance of Installation with Practical Work and Exercises
After successful completion of the training course, every participant will receive a time-limited certificate for the trained PFISTERER product.

âž¡ Please Note – Only specialists certified by the manufacturer are allowed to perform the installation of High Voltage Cable Accessories. This is required to secure your warranty claims.

 ➡ SEANEX | Jointers currently certified as Competent by PFISTERER to install the CONNEX range of 33kV inner cone separable connectors must arrange for additional certification to install the SEANEX range of products at 66kV.
SEANEX – High Voltage Connector for Offshore Inter-Array Cabling. SEANEXÂ is a dry pluggable inner cone connection and contact system especially for renewable energy and offshore high voltage power systems up to 72.5kV

Thorne & Derrick stock and recommend the use of Alroc tools for the preparation of medium/high voltage cables to effectively remove the cable sheath, semi-con screen and insulation.
General Terms & Conditions
Extensive, in-depth experience in working with and installing medium and high voltage cables is a prerequisite for participation in the PFISTERER training courses. Training courses are held in English. Participants must be able to understand and speak the respective language or the customer must provide a qualified interpreter.
The PFISTERER certificate will only be awarded to the participant on successful completion of the training course.
Cancellation Costs: Up to 14 days before the training course. Cancellation costs for bookings/reservations (hotel, flight, etc.). Less than 14 days before the training course: 50% of the cost of the booked installation training course and cancellation costs for bookings and reservations.
