CBS ArcSafe remote racking systems enable service personnel to stay outside the arc flash protection boundary while racking low, medium and high voltage draw-out circuit breakers, reducing the need for a full-body arc flash suit. These systems promote compliance with NFPA 70E by offering a safer way to operate circuit breakers, effectively safeguarding personnel from arc flash risks; typically power system voltages include 3.3kV, 6.6kV, 11kV, 25kV and 33kV medium and high voltage switchgear equipment.
CBS ArcSafe provide bespoke electrical safety equipment to prevent arc flash injuries to personnel improving operator electrical safety where Authorised Personnel (AP’s) and Senior Authorised Personnel (SAP’s) and undertaking maintenance tasks to ensure construction and maintenance on high voltage electrical systems, typically at 33kV.
