Fortress is the respected and reputable brand for the range of feeder pillars from Lucy Zodion available in 28 sizes to cater for the power requirements of industrial electrical distribution projects up to 600/1000V.

Feeder pillars manufactured by Lucy Zodion from galvanised steel (with optional painted versions) for LV electrical power distribution and control – the Lucy Fortress range of pillars provide effective exterior low voltage electrical power distribution, lighting and control, standard and customised options available to special order.

Pre-wired distribution feeder pillars can also be produced to customer specification – the pre-wired pillars are available in galvanised mild and stainless steel manufactured and tested in accordance to BS7671 and BSEN 61439.

A choice of hot dip galvanised steel or hot dip galvanised steel with paint coating protection is available – the following vandal resistant Fortress feeder pillars are stocked for next day delivery:

The single-door and double-door feeder pillars open to provide complete access to the cabinet interior for internal working and wiring without the impedance of a central divider.

The smaller version Mini Feeder Piilars have a top mounted tri-head lock to secure the door in place – with the lock in the open position the feeder pillar door lifts away from its slot location at the bottom of the cabinet to provide unrestricted access for the engineer to the pillar internals and equipment.

• Detachable root section finished in bitumen enriched paint

Fortress Mini Pillars are available in 7 sizes: 113mm – 503mm widths with a 3mm feeder pillar shell thickness, single door and bitumen painted root section for improved service life. Small mini pillars have a removable door, not hinged, to provide unrestricted access to the electrical equipment located on the pillar backboard.

Fortress Double Door Feeder Pillars are available available in 9 sizes: 1250mm – 2250mm widths with 3mm or 5mm galvanised steel pillar shell thickness (stainless steel option).

HDG – mild steel hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461

HDP –  mild steel hot dip galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 followed by a pre-treatment then painted grey RAL 7012 as standard.
