Bare Copper Tape | Furse
Furse Bare Copper Tape Conductor
Furse
Copper is used for most installations due to its high conductivity, anti-corrosive properties, and its flexibility for use in-air, in-earth and in-concrete forming part of the Furse range of conductors.
Direct lightning strikes can cause power outages to critical LV MV HV electrical infrastructure – a fully coordinated Earthing & Lightning Protection System will eliminate the potential risk of a direct strike or electrical surge. Direct strike by lightning can be devastating causing fires and damaging electrical power systems.
Furse bare copper tape is available in a range of sizes to meet differing current ratings see the table below

Conductors
Earthing conductors are available in high conductivity copper and aluminium as bare, tinned or lead with PVC or LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) covering – conductors are used to prevent large transients entering a buildings power distribution system safely dispersing the electrical currents.
