E1W Cable Glands

Prysmian Bicon E1W cable glands are low smoke zero halogen cable glands that have a weatherproof dual seal high performance cable gland suitable for LS0H cables along with LUL approval.

E1W cable gland kits are used for galvanised steel single wire armour plastic or rubber sheathed cables in dry, dust free and non-hazardous areas – the E1W gland has a three part amour lock with separate armour locking ring, ideal for checking electrical continuity.

LV Cable Terminations

Prysmian Bicon E1W cable gland kits comply with BS EN 50262 & BS 6121-1: 1989. Suitable for glanding all Steel wire armoured cables inc: BS 6724, BS 8519, BS 7846, BS 6387 and BS 7835 – stranded copper conductors can be terminated using Cembre crimp or Pfisterer shearbolt cable lugs.  Complies with LU Standard 1-085 for installation in all sub-surface locations and LUL APR Product ID 1968. E1W cable gland rated to IP66 with use of suitable sealing washer or thread sealant at gland interface.
