Ellis 2A-161N 2 hole single cable cleats are manufactured by Ellis Patents from aluminium and are designed to fix, retain and support low and high voltage cables – suitable for cleating LV (Low Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage) and HV (High Voltage) cables in dry industrial or outdoor unpolluted applications.

Ellis Patents 2A-161N cable cleats are suitable for securing single-way cables between 135-144mm overall cable diameter – see the complete range of aluminium cable cleats.

2 hole cable clamps made from aluminium can be supplied with a neoprene liner on request (‘L’ should be added as a suffix to the part number) – for cable installations in onshore and offshore harsh, hazardous area and medium/high voltage (MV-HV) applications refer to stainless steel cable cleats for excellent corrosion resistance and the highest levels of short circuit fault protection.

2 Hole Aluminium Cable Clamps form part of the Ellis Patents range of single cable cleats – metallic cable cleats manufactured as standard in plain LM6 aluminium to BS1490 have been tested in accordance with the International Standard IEC61914: 2009 of Cable Cleats for Electrical Installations.

2 Hole Single Cable Clamp Installation Instructions


1. Position the aluminium cable clamp and 2 bolts (not supplied) onto the support structure.	2. Install the LV MV HV cable.	3. Locate the other half of the cable clamp. Secure with 2 fastening nuts and washers (not supplied) and tighten.	4. Important. Do not over tighten the cable cleat. The cleat should secure the cable but does not need to be so tight that the cable bulges at either side of the cable cleat.
