E1WF40 Hazardous Area Cable Glands
Prysmian E1WF40 cable glands manufactured from brass are suitable for terminating steel wire armoured (SWA) cables with extruded polymeric bedding (XLPE EPR) and oversheath in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas – E1WF cable glands available in both aluminium and brass are ΙΙ 2GD, Ex e ΙΙ & Ex d ΙΙC classified under ATEX directive 94/9/EC.
Prysmian E1WF40 hazardous area cable glands with 1 1/2″ NPT entry thread provide Ex d (explosion-proof) and Ex e (flameproof) cable termination with dual seal protection and three part cable armour lock to provide mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity for overall cable diameters 29.0mm-39.9mm.
