Prysmian KCA455-71 (E1WF-AL20SS) weatherproof cable glands are suitable for terminating circular aluminium wire armoured (AWA) cables with extruded polymeric bedding (XLPE EPR) and oversheath in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas – E1WF cable glands available in both aluminium and brass are ΙΙ 2GD, Ex e ΙΙ & Ex d ΙΙC classified under ATEX directive 94/9/EC.

Prysmian E1WF-AL20SS cable glands provide Ex d (explosion-proof) and Ex e (flameproof) hazardous area cable termination – the cable glands feature dual seal protection and three part cable armour lock to provide mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity for overall cable diameters 8.0mm-13.2mm.
