Ripley miller FO-CF
FO-CF is a fibre optic cable stripper manufactured by Ripley Miller with a centre feed design allowing for a longitudinal approach when stripping fibre cable. The fibre cable is fully supported during the stripping process.
This compact, lightweight and ergonomic too provides precise, longitudinal fibre stripping from the 900 micron buffer coating down to the 125 micron bare fibre. Convenient, side-mounted stripper blades remove the 1.6 to 3 mm jackets and all cutting surfaces are precision-formed, hardened, tempered and ground to ensure fibre is stripped accurately without damage.
The Miller FO-CF cable stripping tool has a measurement scale showing inches and mm built into the tool jaw and a removable cleaning brush which is conveniently attached to the stripper for periodic cleaning of stripping jaws.

The tool is designed with three fibre stripping stations: Jacket, 900 micron, and 250 micron.
Jacket Stripping
For simplex fibre cable with a loose outer jacket, the jacket can be removed with the side mounted jacket blade shown in Fig.1 Insert the cable to the desired strip length, close the tool firmly, and pull jacketing off. The cutting blades will strip jackets ranging from 1.6 – 3.0mm diameter.
Fibre Stripping
The front face of the tool is supplied with 900 and 250 stripping notches. The notch locations are depicted on the front guides, see Fig. 2.
