Prysmian Afumex 6491B is a Low Smoke Zero Halogen Cable that is single core and suitable for installation in a wide range of internal general wiring and building applications – including new build and refurbishment with its small size and 90°C rating.

Afumex 6491B cable is available from 1.5sqmm to 630sqmm with a stranded circular copper conductor, and for cables 35sqmm and above with compacted circular conductors.

Key Applications : Installation in surface mounted or embedded conduits, or similar closed systems and for fixed protected installation in or on lighting fittings and inside appliances, switchgear and control gear particularly for situations in which low emissions of smoke and acid gas is required in case of burning.

Conductor : Plain annealed copper stranded circular conductor complying with BS EN 60228 Class 2.

Insulation : 90°C LSOH cross linked insulation complying with BS EN 50363-5 Type El 5

Core Identification : o Red o Black o Blue o Brown o Grey o Green/Yellow

Voltage : Low Voltage (450/750 V)

Afumex | Low Smoke Cables

Afumex cables are low smoke high performance and flame retardant electrical cables for power and control cables – the cable sheath is LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) which the event of a fire will emit very low levels of smoke and non-toxic levels of poisonous halogen gases.
