Filoshrink Cold Shrink Tubes, manufactured by Filoform, are made of EPDM rubber offering good mechanical, insulation and sealing protection, while accommodating a wide range of cable sizes. The tubes are suitable for indoor or outdoor applications and are simple and fast to install. Filoform Filoshrink Cold Shrink Tubes environmentally seal and mechanically protect exposed cable using no tools, mastics or tapes. The tubular rubber sleeves are factory expanded using Cold Shrink technology, and loaded onto a removable core. When the Cold Shrink tube is positioned over a cable, or other cylindrical object, the core is removed to provide a reliable seal which protects your LV MV HV cable ends from environmental damage. The cold shrink tubes are easily installed and cleanly removable. Whether in transit from the manufacturer, stored in the cable yard, or in a trench, your cables are protected from exposure to moisture, contamination and corrosion. Several different tubes are available to accommodate a wide range of sizes – Cold Shrink is cold applied, unlike heat shrink, it does not require a naked flame or heat shrink torch to install for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres and hazardous area locations.

Cold Shrink Tubes Specifications

All Filoshrink End Caps and Filoshrink EPDM Tubes have a 5-year shelf life, provided they are stored according to the manufacturers recommended conditions of storage.

Filoshrink Cold Shrink Tubes protect cables, pipes and other cylindrical objects from exposure to moisture, contamination, corrosion, ozone, ultra-violet radiation, physical contact and other environmental hazards.
