Filoshrink CT – FS53-14

Cold Shrink Tubes, manufactured by Filoform, are made of EPDM rubber offering good mechanical, insulation and sealing protection, while accommodating a wide range of LV MV HV cable sizes.

The cold applied tubes are suitable for both indoor or outdoor applications and are simple and fast to install or remove, requiring no training.

Filoform Cold Shrink Tubes environmentally seal and mechanically protect exposed cable using no tools, mastics or tapes.

The tubular rubber sleeves are factory expanded using Cold Shrink technology, and loaded onto a removable core.

When the tube is positioned over a cable, or other cylindrical object, the core is removed to provide a reliable seal which protects LV MV HV cables from environmental damage.

Cold Shrink is applied cold, unlike heat shrink, it does not require a naked flame or heat shrink torch to install for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres and hazardous area locations.

All Filoshrink End Caps and Cold Shrink Tubes have a shelf life of 5-year, provided they are stored according to the manufacturers recommended conditions of storage.
