Cubis AX-S™ Ductile Iron covers offer flexibility in design with bespoke options suited to client needs. Covers can also be fitted with a variety of locking features.
How do access covers work? Cubis access covers are used in combination with access chamber systems to protect the infrastructure networks below.
Ductile Covers are indexed to ensure correct fitting and developed using a locked, sequential cover opening system.

Security
Access chamber covers have security options, which can be added with the use of a standard feature such as a spring bar, captive hinge, factory fitted security bolts and screws; or by providing the facility to enable a locking kit to be fitted retrospectively.
Access Cover For Safety
The development of a comprehensive range of hinged access covers and gully grates, helps minimise the risk of injury through static lifting of ironwork.
Durability
Cubis access covers have long lifespans, reducing costs for replacements by the end user. Optimum performance is ensured through the seating contact areas, the thickness of the frame and controlled manufacturing tolerances.

How The Ductile Iron Cover Works
The Ductile Iron access cover is used for infrastructure and cable protection, when used in conjunction with an access chamber. Ductile Covers are indexed to ensure correct fitting and developed using a locked, sequential cover opening system. Bespoke security locking options are available. Suitable for areas imposing high wheel loads, e.g. docks and aircraft pavements.
This cover meets the requirements of the European Standard BS EN 124.
