Heat Shrink Cable Breakouts & Moulded Parts – 3M SKE 4-Way Cable Breakouts
Cable Breakouts
3M SKE 4-Way cable breakouts and 3M cable end caps are designed for quick and easy insulation and sealing of 4 core cable end or crutches, and provide resistance to abrasion, weathering and chemical attack.
Each heat shrink cable breakout will cover a wide range of sizes and different types of cables – also 3 core cable breakouts are also available.
These 4 core heat shrinkable cable breakouts are made from semi-rigid, cross-linked modified polyolefin material which is internally coated with hot melt adhesive. The materials used are zero halogen. On application of heat the adhesive melts and the part shrinks forming a perfect watertight seal – the 4 core cable breakouts can be used for insulating/sealing of cable crutches for indoor and outdoor applications.
Thorne & Derrick distribute complete range of cable terminations in both heat shrink and Cold Shrink for LV (Low Voltage), MV (Medium Voltage) and HV (High Voltage) cables and power systems.
➡ Read about several methods including use of Cold Shrink to repair cable damage.
