ALROC MF3/60
MF3/60 multifunction cable tools are manufactured by Alroc and used by MV-HV jointers to remove the outer sheath (PE-PVC-PR) with a straight and neat cut, score the peelable semiconductor with a chamfer on the edge of the semiconductor cutback (with the SR scoring stylus delivered with the tool), set the length to be removed and remove the insulation with a straight and neat cut.
The benefits of the Alroc MF3/60 Cable Jointing & Preparation Tool include tuning of the pitch of the tool and embedded wear pads to protect the tool from the contact with the outer sheath of the medium/high voltage cable. The Alroc MF3/60 multifunction tool is available with one of the following scoring stylus options;
- SRC – Scoring stylus for peelable semiconductor with chamfer,
- SCH – Chamfering stylus for insulation,
- SR – Scoring stylus for peelable semiconductor.
