Prysmian Bicon AXT brass cable gland kits are industrial cable glands used to terminate wire braided cables where superior mechanical cable retention is required.
AXT brass cable gland kits are used for circular unarmoured, or wire braid or screened, plastic or rubber sheathed cables and are weatherproof and waterproof and suitable for indoor and outdoor use and includes::

Prysmian Bicon AXT brass cable gland kits comply with BS EN 50262 and are suitable for glanding CY & SY type power and instrumentation cables – stranded copper conductors can be terminated using Cembre crimp or Pfisterer shearbolt cable lugs.

CuZn39Pb3 brass alloy is used for guaranteed performance – the gland kit is rated to IP66 with the use of a suitable sealing washer or thread sealant at gland interface and is suitable for service temperatures from -50ºC to +200ºC.
