Thorne & Derrick supply standard and customised cable boxes to protect cable terminations operating at 11kV – 33kV voltages to provide protection of medium/high voltage cable-end terminations including heat shrink, cold shrink and separable connector types.
Webster Wilkinson cable boxes are designed for the dry termination of HV cables – suitable for protecting MV-HV cable terminations at 11kV – 33kV voltages with XLPE or PILC type insulation.
Air partially insulated cable boxes avoid the need for additional site insulation however the cable box is often large in order to maintain full air clearances.
