Ellis Patents Non Metallic Cable Hanging Systems (LV MV HV Cable) are a range of modular cable hangers used for cable support typically in rail applications as they meet the requirements ofThe cable hanger material is a high strength nylon especially formulated to meet the requirements of the London Underground 1-085 Specification. Independent testing is carried out to prove conformance to the standard including toxicity, limited oxygen and smoke emission. The extruded aluminium spine of the hanger is marine grade and its specially shaped profile has been designed to offer high strength rigidity. the London Underground 1-085 specification.

The hangers are manufactured from nylon and provide a lightweight, strong and flexible solution that can be designed and made to order.

Typically, cable hanging systems are not convenient or easy to use as they are supplied in set sizes and dimensions. Pegasus hangers change this by providing a changeable solution.

Pegasus Cable Hangers

The cable hanger material is a high strength nylon especially formulated to meet the requirements of the London Underground 1-085 Specification. Independent testing is carried out to prove conformance to the standard including toxicity, limited oxygen and smoke emission. The extruded aluminium spine of the hanger is marine grade and its specially shaped profile has been designed to offer high strength rigidity.

Resistance to ‘self-corrosion’ and ‘bi-metallic corrosion’ are considered in the design and the non-metallic nature of the materials ensures that corrosion would not occur even in the harshest of environments.

  • Corrosion Free – As a result of there being no bimetallic contact and its aluminium spine being enclosed to protect against the corrosive effects of brake dust, the Pegasus cable hangers will  not corrode
  • Superior Design Prevents Damage – The curved saddle shape of the hanger prevents cable damage caused by sharp edges
  • Modular Design For Flexibility – This design allows flexible assembly with any number of hangers in any given combination. This gives designers the ability to produce the exact cable layout design they require and special designs can be manufactured for specific applications
  • Lightweight – up to 50% lighter than a galvanised steel equivalent
  • Cable Safety – safe working load per hanger of 40kg
