3M HV Inner Cone Plug In Separable Connectors are designed for inner cone bushings up to 11kV/12kV voltages and single core polymeric power cable systems with copper wire screen cables according to EN 50180/50181 – the high voltage plug-in style connectors are suitable for Interface types 1, 2 and 3 when connection to metal enclosed switchgear and transformers is required.

3M HV Inner Cone Plug In Connectors have been tested to DIN VDE 0278-629-1 and have an unlimited shelf life when stored between -40ºC to +50ºC at <75% Relative Humidity.

Cold shrink is typically used for the dry termination of medium/high voltage 11kV-33kV cables into MV-HV air insulated cable boxes.
T&D also distribute MV-HV Connectors for terminating cable into metal-enclosed SF6 insulated medium voltage switchgears (GIS) and liquid immersed transformers.
