Ripley WS 61 adjustable URD cable jacket stripper is used when splicing, jointing and terminating both HV and LV overhead power, transmission and distribution cables.

Ripley WS 61 is a cable preparation tool used by jointers/splicers suitable for cable O.Ds up to 57.15mm and for stripping encapsulated jackets of #2 AWG to 1000 MCM URD cables. The adjustable URD jacket stripper is designed for the removal of polyethylene encapsulated jackets as the blade offers precise positioning.

Operation is easy thanks to the two handles and the tool prevents damage to underlying concentric conductors. In addition the WS61 can also be used as an adjustable end stripper.
