Surge Protection Devices (Compact)

The CRTM150/650 manufactured by PD Devices Ltd is a compact version of their widely-used RTM Series surge protection device, designed to protect equipment connected to AC power supplies from the damaging effects of lightning strikes and voltage surges. These surge arresters help reduce the failure rate of Trackside Functional Modules (TFMs) during lightning storms, improving Solid State Interlock (SSI) performance and extending the service life of the protected equipment.

They are installed on incoming power supplies or tail cables, safeguarding the power supplies within SSI equipment cases and rooms. These advanced protection devices offer an ideal solution for safeguarding signals, points, level crossings, and other critical infrastructure at and between stations.

The CRTM150/650 has been approved with Network Rail Certificate of Acceptance PA05/00602, Issue 7. The product is listed under PADs Catalogue Number 086/047218. It is also approved to the quality standard BS EN ISO 9001, ensuring it meets established quality management requirements.
