MV HV Substation Electrical Safety Kits
The MV HV Substation Electrical Safety Kits designed by PENTA to assist people in the presence of electrical hazards, up to 25kV medium voltage networks with the VES25 model or up to 36kV high voltage networks with the VES36 model (also available as LV Substation Rescue & Intervention Electrical Safety Kits). PENTA’s electrical safety kits provide life saving rescue and intervention in the event of an electrical based incidents in and around MV HV substations and whilst working on electrical installations. The kit is particularly suitable for incidents such as on-road, electric and hybrid vehicles, cable removal, work on photovoltaic panels, work on electrified railways and in general electrical industries.
The MV HV Substation Rescue & Intervention Safety Kits is compact with a range of MV and HV electrical safety equipment, such as insulating stools, insulating gloves, insulating boots & sticks, a voltage detector with integrated self-testing (voltages of 127V AC to 90kV), a 36kV cable cutter and more. Useable for indoor and outdoor scenarios.

- Electrical Insulating stool: 25kV or 36kV models available
- Electrical Insulating gloves: GLB3-36-10 (class 3) for model PENTA VES25 or GLB4-41-10 (class 4) for model VES36
- Electrical Insulating boots (TB19): protection against step voltage (voltage gradient in the ground)
- Telescopic Insulating stick (PPOLVES) equipped with a hook (CSVES): telescopic stick with pentagonal shape for a perfect grip
- Voltage detector (TDPESEC): detects all voltages of 127 V AC and above (does not detect DC voltages), with automatic wake up when voltage detected
- Cable cutter (CCIVES): Insulated 36kV cable cutter
- Talc shaker (TS10T): for easier donning of gloves
- Fabric case for gloves (TS10): mechanical and UV protection
- Adhesive maker tape (S174JN): for marking off an area, preventing a disconnect switch from being reset, etc
- Instruction for use (VESNOT): in diagram form for quick reading and guidance
