♦ UL 4703 Standards
The UL 4703 standards for photovoltaic (PV) wire that covers the requirements for sunlight resistance, insulated wires and cables. This standard applies to grounded and underground PV power systems. UL 4703 requirements include, temperature rated for 90°C wet or dry, and 105°C, 125°C, or 150°C dry, rated voltages for 600V, 1kV or 2kV and, conductor types of stranded copper, copper-clad aluminium, or aluminium.
♦ TÜV 2 pfg 1169 Standards
This standard is for photovoltaic (PV) solar cables that includes requirements for temperature, fire performance, and more. TÜV 2 pfg 1169 standards cover a wide range of requirements, including a cable temperature rating of -40°C to +125°C, a maximum short circuit temperature is 280°C, meets IEC 60332-1, IEC 61034, EN 50268-2 & DIN 51900 for fire-resistance performance, smoke emission & low fire load, and a nominal voltage of 600V/1000V AC & 1000V/1800V DC.
♦ RoHS Compliant
RoHS compliance restricts use of certain hazardous substances that can be used in electrical and electronic equipment, providing manufacturers do not exceed the maximum levels of those substances, as set by RoHS standards.
♦ UL 2556 VW-1 Test
The UL 2556 VW-1 standards is a test that measure how well insulating materials resist fire spread when mountain vertically. It’s part of a broader standard that outlines how to test electrical cables and wires. UL 2556 VW-1 tests help ensure that electrical cables and wires meet safety standards and regulations, in order to reduce the risk of fires, short circuits and equipment failure.
♦ EN 60332-1-2 Standards
This international standard specifies how to test the flame spread of electrical and optical fibre cables, which is ultimately used to determine how well cables can resist fire damage. EN 60332-1-2 allows identification of cable fire classes, including B1ca, B2ca, Cca, Dca, and Eca.
