Cable Insulation Stripping Tools
GB-M20 from Boddingtons Electrical offers easy and safe cutting and removing of cable outer jacket and insulation. Only one tool is needed for the two functions.
This tool cuts outer jackets from 15mm diameter up to 55m and the XLPE insulation up to a thickness of 8 – 10 mm. Automatic feed (step 1 and 2) and the “O” position, for radial cutting, guarantees a quick, safe and exact cutting of both the cable jacket and insulation.
In order to protect the prepared insulation screen and for cable diameters smaller than Ø 25mm, use the additional plastic insert GB-M20-S9.
Due to the placement and design of the cutting blade, the sheath will be lifted at the cutting point so that there is no danger of damaging the components below and a cutting depth of approx. 80% will be sufficient.
