These 3M Electrical QTII type cable terminations utilise Cold Shrink technology to terminate and connect MV HV cables – 3M 92-EB65-1 is a medium voltage cold shrink cable termination suitable for connecting single core polymeric (XLPE EPR) insulated cables up to 11kV with copper wire screen.
The kit suits 11kV cables with 16sqmm, 25sqmm single core conductors.
3M QTII Series including 3M 92-EB65-1 are not subject to the European WEEE and RoHS Directives but meet their requirements.
3M QTII from the 92EB Series are designed for use with 11kV (12kV) single core polymeric power cable systems according to HD 620 (IEC 60502).
3M 92EB Series cable terminations feature the Cold Shrink QTII Silicone Termination body with integrated stress control device and silicone elastomeric insulation. Silicone tape is included for moisture sealing.
