3MÂ 92-EX610-6 is a HV Inner Cone Plug In Separable Connectors that is designed for inner cone bushings up to 11/12kV voltages and single core polymeric power cable systems with copper wire screen cables according to EN 50180/50181 for Interface type 1 with an application range guide of 25-240sqmm.
3M 92-EX610-6 Plug In Kits for Interface Type 1 switchgear bushings are not subject of the European WEEE and RoHS Directives but meet their requirements – manufactured by 3M Electrical using silicone materials the plug in separable connectors are used to connect and terminate medium/high voltage cables with XLPE insulation to metal enclosed switchgear and transformers.

3M 92-EX610-6 Series Plug In kits are Cold Applied, the use of special tools is not necessary. Detailed instructions for installing the 3M 92-EX610-6 are included in each kit.

The 3M 92-EX610-6 Series Plug In Kit has been tested to DIN VDE 0278-629-1. Test report available upon request.

The standards EN 50180 and EN 50181 define four types of interfaces for the inner cone system of equipment bushings up to 52kV – bushings type 1, type 2 and type 3 bushings type 1, type 2 and type 3 for medium/high voltage electrical equipment including switchgear and transformers.
