Marine & Offshore Cables
3M LVI-1/3C resin joint also suitable for tinned annealed stranded copper conductors, ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) insulated, low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) bedding, galvanised steel wire braid armour, low smoke, zero halogen (LSZH) outersheath. 600/1000 volts grade to BS6883 & IEE92-3 – hazardous area cable joints also available.
3M LVI-1/3C cable joint includes: transparent hinged mould joint body, Scotchcast 470W resin pack, armour continuity braids, 3M constant force springs, 3M Scotch 23 self-amalgamating tape and jointing installation instructions.

How Scotchcast Resin Bags Work
1. Open the foil outer pack | 2. Pull apart the partition seal | 3. Mix two resins thoroughly | 4. Ensure all resin is freed from all corners | 5. Mix thoroughly again | 6. Activate nozzle and pour resin |
