Alroc PG4 HTA

Alroc PG4 tool is a cable stripping tool for the clean and precise removal of the outersheath of cables with a 47-75mm range – the PG range of tools provide a “ring and circle” cut to the cable sheath and remove the risk of site accidents associated with “open-blade” type tools or standard electrician knives.

PG4 HTA cable tools manufactured by Alroc are used by LV-MV-HV jointers to remove the outer sheath to prepare the cable ready for the installation of joints, terminations or connectors – the cable preparation tools are quick, light to hold and easy to use by the Jointer when stripping jacket/sheath from LV (Low), Medium (MV) and (HV) High Voltage Cables.

The PG4 HTA, manufactured by Alroc and supplied by Thorne & Derrick, enables the jointer to make a circular and longitudinal cut to the cable in order to remove cable’s outer sheath. All cutting depth ranging from 0,5 mm / 0,019 in to 5 mm / 0,196 in are available on demand. Contact T&D for more information.

Alroc cable tools are used by LV MV HV cable jointers to remove cable sheath and jackets to provide excellent cable preparation prior to the installation of joints, terminations or connectors using cold shrink, heat shrink or push-on type technology.
