STRATA SKU – SFX576 Arc Flash Clothing Kit (40 cal/cm²) is a comfortable, lightweight arc flash jacket and protective coverall kit typically used by Service Engineers and SAP’s working on LV MV HV switching operations – the switching suits are generally used to provide personal protection to workers undertaking maintenance, repair and operations on Low & High Voltage Power Systems in accordance with the site calculated arc flash risk.

Make your garments last longer by doing the following:

  • Arc flash clothing should be cleaned regularly.
  • Professional laundering is recommended by a STRATA approved launderette.
  • Wash separately from non-FR garments.
  • A label with appropriate cleaning instructions is affixed within your garment.
  • Never use a heavily soiled garment.
  • Garments with reflective tape should be washed and dried at a lower temperature
When not in use store arc flash clothing in a dry area away from direct sunlight.

Step 1: Measure across the bridge of your knuckles on the front of your hand – see also arc flash gloves and insulating gloves.

Step 2: Pass the tape measure around the palm of your hand as one complete measurement – this measurement represents your glove size e.g. some gloves 8″ represents size 8). Please refer to Size Chart below:
