Euromold 156SA Surge Arrester 11kV 24kV
Euromold 156SA is a surge arrester (11kV-24kV) specified to protect MV-HV cables terminated into substations and connecting medium/high voltage cables in the following voltage classes:
- 6/10 (12kV)
- 6.35/11 (12kV)
- 8.7/15 (17.5kV)
- 12/20 (24kV)
- 12.7/22 (24kV)
Euromold 156SA surge arrester can be supplied with straight connectors (152SR), straight plug (151SP) and plug-in type epoxy bushings – all suitable for use with Interface A type bushings on SF6 gas-insulated switchgear.
156A surge arrester designed to protect 11kV/12kV and 24kV class components, including transformers, equipment, cable and accessories from high voltage surges resulting from lightning or switching.
This surge arrester is a metal oxide varistor surge arrester in an elbow configuration that is tested for AC withstand and partial discharge prior to leaving the factory.
Connector accessories include: dead-end receptacle, dead-end plug, stand-off plug and earthing plug for type A interfaces.
