Pfisterer cable testing sockets are used during the carrying out start-up tests on cables with MV CONNEX separable connectors – the MV CONNEX cable fittings and accessories for medium voltage (MV) networks are trusted by utilities for connection of MV cables to ensure reliable and efficient performance of gas insulated switchgear in medium voltage substations.
The cable test socket is not touchproof. After testing, the test socket must be earthed and short-circuited. The cable test socket is not suitable for partial discharge measuring.
Pfisterer CONNEXÂ connectors are touch-proof and used to terminate and connect polymeric insulated MV-HV cables into gas insulated switchgear and electrical equipment from extensive stocks to UK and international destinations.

MV Connex
