Cable Cleats
Prysmian Orion are trefoil cable cleats made from aluminium alloy and are used to clamp, support and retain LV, HV & HV cables (including 11kV-33kV cables) in trefoil formation where single core power cables require adequate protection against high short circuit faults.
Prysmian orion cleats are part of the Prysmian BICON trefoil range of cable cleats suitable for clamping LV, MV, HV cables with diameters 62 to 186m featuring deep cast bases to aid easy cable installations.
Epoxy coated versions are available for harsher environments.

Aluminium Cable Cleats
Aluminium steel cable cleats are designed to fix, retain and support low and high voltage cables.
➡ Prysmian have a range of aluminium cable cleats providing cable support and protection for larger cable (51mm to 159mm) diameters providing cable support for all types of cable routes with operating temperatures -60°C to +105°C.

Installing Orion Cable Cleats In Trefoil For LV-HV (11kV-33kV) Cable Clamping & Support
Prysmian Orion Cleats all have the facility for single or two bolt fixing hole for a M12 bolt. If 2 bolt fixings are used a minimum grade of 8.8 must be selected. 376TR11 and 376TE11 have four fixing bolts. Dimension C as above with 70mm between the bolts.
Also available are Prysmian Orion Shaped Cleats which feature deep cast bases to aid in easy cable installation.
